This award was five years in the making.  A team of dedicated individuals collaborated in quiet and thoughtful discussions and endless hours of pain-staking work in order to provide clear, error-free, and consistent access to materials crucial to research in one academic discipline.   During the years of this project, some team members moved into new positions; others were pressured by shifting work demands - but they all remained focused on the prize.  Because this team tracked down every title in every volume, claimed the undelivered items,  created hyperlinks, and developed an enhanced check-in process, today's  Mathematicians can easily find monographic titles in 100 essential series -- some of which include more than 100 titles. 

It is a delight today to honor a team that has worked so determinedly to improve service -- The Mathematics Library Series Project Team:
