Considering the adjectives used to describe her, our last individual honoree might have earned recognition – just for bringing a breath of fresh air into the Libraries. Nominators describe her as “tremendously pleasant to work with,” “demonstrating remarkable sympathy for others,” and highly flexible and sunny. In fact, however, she was nominated for the concrete contributions that match her pleasant demeanor. She was praised for consistently providing more than is requested of her, for taking on new responsibilities (during this time of staffing shortages), and for creating reports and charts that enable managers to better understand budget realities and options. For bringing both good will and outstanding financial management to the Libraries, we recognize Kelly Koski.
