Some organizations have people who develop products, those who market them, and those who actually deliver the service. In the library, these roles are often combined into one. This honoree is an individual who played all of these parts even as she managed her other very significant responsibilities.

As a member of a project team, she helped developed one the library’s most popular new service. In the year since its debut, she has assured its success. She developed and tested procedures, organized workflows, and contacted and encouraged potential users. She built faith in the system, by stepping into to any role needed. She solved faculty problems, copyright questions, and paper jams. Supported by a talented task force and by a committed team, she led the initiation and expansion of electronic reserves.
