Aaron Bales
Employee Recognition Winner 1999

As the Libraries grow increasingly dependant on teams, it grows increasingly harder to single out individuals for recognition. This award, however, goes to an individual who excelled on four critical teams: the E-reserve Team, the Engineering Document Retrieval Team, the Arts & Letters Document Delivery Team, and the Circulation Pit and Training Team. He is respected throughout the Libraries for his ability to understand hardware and software and to communicate technology-relate problems, needs, and solutions

Working with the Circulation Pit, he has had a major impact on the greatly improved second version of the ALEPH circulation application. For his many committee contributions and for his leadership within the Engineering Library, we honor Aaron Bales.
