SAC March Meeting Minutes

We had a visit from Denise Murphy (benefits). She talked about the possibility of having another enrollment for the long term care some time in May. The sign up for the long term care was low and they think that sometimes that benefit gets overlooked during the regular enrollment period.
After taking vacation, sick or personal time be sure to check your pay stubs to make sure that what you have turned in and what has been reported to HR is the same. It does take a couple of pay periods for them to catch up but if you think it isn't accurate call HR and let them know. Concern was expressed that the pay stubs aren't accurate so Denise said to check them because they should be accurate.

If you have HRI dental insurance there is a special form that you will need for when you make a prepayment on orthodontics so that you can get reimbursed, I believe that it is on their web site if you can't find it let me know and I will find out where you find it.

If you have a flex spending account and send in your prescription receipts for reimbursement you can also go to the Medco web site and get a print out of all your prescriptions that you have had filled and just send that in
with out having to send in the receipts. I didn't know that and I thought it might be easier to do it that way. You can wait and send it in all at once or as you have them filled, just have them sent in by March of 2005 for the year 2004. If you have any thing to turn in for 2003 you only have till the 31st to do so.

Pension statements should have been sent out be sent out by the end of March if you don't receive yours let me know and we will see if we can't get it straightened out.

Look for upcoming Ad-Hoc lunch n learns, possibilities are stadium or Jacc tours, campus tour, football 101 clinic. If you think of an idea that you think would be interesting to have as a lunch n learn let me know, never hurts to ask.
