SAC
meeting June
Denise Murphy, Director of Compensation and Benefits attended the
meeting to provide an update on some benefit topics. One of which was an
article on the front page of ND Works, which talked about the upcoming
Health Questionnaire. I believe most of it was explained in the article
so I won't go into too many details, but if you have any questions
please let me know and I will get them answered for you. We will also be
receiving a letter to explain the program in more detail. There is talk
of having spouses included in this program next year. The article did
talk about incentive that will reduce your monthly insurance premiums.
If you do not have insurance through the university you will still
receive the $10.00 incentive. The survey is voluntary and confidential.
As of July 1st recommended immunizations will be covered ( HPV-for young
girls to help prevent Cervical Cancer, Meningitis, etc.) In the past
only immunizations that were required were covered.
Retirees will be offered Life Insurance. There will be 2 different
amounts of coverage to choose from.
Medco has added a fourth tier for Specialty drugs. The cost is now
$45.00. You will need to contact Medco to find out exactly which drugs
are considered Specialty.
Please remember the Staff Picnic this Friday 11:00-1:00. Stop by the SAC
table to register for some cool prizes that were donated by many
departments on campus.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
Thank you
