SAC December 2006 Meeting

The 2006 December meeting didn't bring too much news.
We had sent letters to Jeff Koros with concern about golf cart driving on campus. Jeff responded to our concerns saying that anyone driving a golf cart is required to have training. Each golf cart is numbered so if you see a cart being driven unsafely please report the number of the cart to the NDSP (1-5555). We have also asked for some action to be taken about the safety of pedestrians crossing Juniper at Holy Cross drive. Pedestrians trying to cross at that intersection have encountered speeding cars who do not slow down or yield to the right of way to
pedestrians. The cross walk has since been repainted, but SAC may ask for more safety measures to be taken.

65% of ND employees completed the University survey. The results of the survey should be available late March or April, but that time is not definite.

In the first meeting of 2007 we voted on the final draft of the Annual Report 2006. This will be available on our website hopefully sometime this month.

I will remind you once more that SAC elections for this district will be this month. Ballots should be coming out in campus mail this week. The first meeting for the new SAC representative will be February 8th from 1-3 pm.

Thank you all for allowing me to be your SAC rep. I have learned a lot and I hope that I have represented you well.

Joy
