ALEPH-ANNOUNCE-L
This list is intended as a vehicle for the posting of general announcements concerning MALC's ALEPH 500 system. Postings are carried out by sending a message to any of the List Editors below. This list is intended to have a low level of traffic, but to distribute high level importance items about MALC's management of the Aleph system to MALC staff. Postings will be limited to _Aleph-related announcements_ of general or very wide interest, e.g., "the system will be down for emergency maintenance tonight", etc. All MALC staff should be subscribed to this announcement-oriented list.

MALC staff should use this list for problem reporting and resolution, tips-'n-tricks, or any other constructive purpose relating to ALEPH as it is implemented in MALC. MALC staff, especially those who use Aleph 18 on a regular basis, must join this list as a prerequisite to getting the Aleph 18 client installed on their workstation.
