IT Skills Training Program

Goal:  Develop a Library computer skills training program

We learned :

• The skills people want
• The skills people need
• How they want to get the skills
• The barriers to getting those skills
• Most people are interested in increasing their IT skills
• People are excited that the Libraries are developing an IT skills training program

How we learned this:

• Focus Groups
• Pilot collaborative training program (File Management)
• Environmental scan

What's next:

• Followup workshop to File Management
• Develop "Nuts & Bolts" series
• Develop core IT skills program
