Minutes of the April 20, 2005 TERMinators meeting

We continued our review of resources listed under the Format term "E-Books and E-Texts". Tom assembled a list of resources recommended for deletion from this term assignment. (http://www.nd.edu/~tlehman/mockups/miscellaneous/ebooks_delete_term.html).

From today's discussion, we decided:

Resources that were recommended for deletion but should retain this term assignment

• Bible Works
• Bibliografia mayor del mito de Don Juan en todas las artes (until a more suitable term is created)

• Deutsche Geschichte von 1949 bis zur Gegenwart (until a more suitable term is created)
• Economic Intelligence Unit Database Access
• Fellowship of Freedom (until a more suitable term is created)
• Lecture notes in mathematics
• Lecture notes in physics

Resources recommended for deletion from E-Books... term assignment, but will get a new term assignment

• Early American Newspapers remains on the delete list, but should have Research Tools/Newspapers assigned
• eMusicquest remains on the delete list, but should be revisited for more appropriate term
• History Cooperative remains on the delete list, but should be assigned to Indexes and Abstracts
• Resource Pages for Biblical Studies remains on the delete list, but Full-Text flag will be added.
• Brooklyn Daily Eagle remains on the delete list, but should have Research Tools/Newspapers assigned
• Newspaper source (EBSCO) remains on the delete list, but should be assigned to Indexes and Abstracts

We also discussed potential need for creation of a "multimedia" term (under Formats facet). This will be discussed further in future meetings.
